Joseph M. Brungard, 60, of Linden, was carried by angels to his tree stand in the sky Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at UPMC Susquehanna-Williamsport.
Born Oct. 21, 1956, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late Alva and June Wynn Brungard.
Joseph was a machinist at Wool Block Company for 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
Joseph attended Buchannan Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Carrie M. (Marshall) Brungard; a son Joseph M. (Persefphanie) Brungard II, of Newfoundland; four grandchildren, Cameron Chism, Caleb, Caden and Jocilyn Brungard; siblings, Linda Spotts, Ruth Beaver, Bonnie Weeks, Alva Brungard, Steve (Denise) Brungard; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Wayne Brungard and a sister, Susan Noel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
