Jean E. Delk

Jean E. Delk, 77, of Williamsport passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at her home where she was cared for by her son.

She was born Feb. 10, 1940, at home in Williamsport, a daughter of John A. and Harriett Huffman Breining.

Jean was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School and an O.R. Technician course offered locally. She was an avid reader and also pursued bible studies, which was her solace. Jean was a life member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She most recently was employed at Cillo’s Chiropractic Center. Earlier in life she was employed by Lycoming College and also had done sales work.

Surviving are her son, Brent Fredericy with whom she lived and siblings, Carol L. Breining, of Williamsport and Samuel P. (Barbara) Breining, also of Williamsport.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service to honor the life of Jean will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2233 Linn St., Williamsport. There will be a viewing from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
