Herman L. "Skip" Greenaway
December 27, 1944 ~ June 17, 2017 (age 72) 72 Years OldHerman L. "Skip" Greenaway Jr., 72, of Cogan Station died Saturday, June 17, 2017, at his residence.
Born Dec. 27, 1944, in Upland, he was a son of the late Herman L. Sr. and Helen K. Kurtz Greenaway.
Skip was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He was the former owner and operator of DuBoistown Garage. Skip enjoyed working on his farm, restoring old tractors and was an original member of the All-Most Country Band.
Surviving is his wife of 51 years, the former Ann L. Lusk; three children, Mark (Kari), of Cogan Station, Steven, of Williamsport, Cherylyn (Douglas) Sauter, of Williamsport; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Kuhns and Patricia Rae, both of Cogan Station.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald, Wayne and Charles Greenaway and Nancy Street.
A memorial service to honor the life of Skip will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
