Gladys R. Grove, 90, of Linden, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Manor Care South.

Born March 3, 1927 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Ellis and Sarah (Paulhamus) Horn. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel S. Grove on April 1, 1977, and two siblings Lester Horn and Elsie Horn

She had worked as a baker at Lose Elementary School for over 20 years. Gladys was a 50 plus year member of Buchanan Baptist Church, where she was part of the Buchanan ladies aid. She was a member of the Salladasburg Senior Citizens, Harvest Moon Bowling League, and the Pennsylvania and Pine Run Grange.

Surviving are a son Larry D. Grove (Dianne) of Linden, two grandchildren Nichole L. Grove of Williamsport, and Tina M. Ulmer (Justin) of Linden, two great grandchildren Jayden and Kason Ulmer.

A funeral service to honor the life of Gladys will be held 11 am Saturday, June 24 at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St. Williamsport, with her pastor the Rev. Robert W. Regan officiating. Burial will be held in Buchanan Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Sanders Mortuary.
