George T. Bickel, III, 51, of Nesbit, passed away at home on Monday, November 28, 2016.

Born December 24, 1964, in Williamsport, he was a son of George and Joyce (Alexander) Bickel, II.

George graduated from Williamsport Area High School and worked for Hope Enterprises. He enjoyed building models, restoring old sleds and mowing grass.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Christine Bickel of Nesbit, Tammy O’Steen of Columbia, S.C.; a brother, Jody Bickel of Nesbit; and a great caretaker, Terry Hunter.

A graveside service to honor the life of George will be held 9:30 am Friday, December 2, 2016 at Twin Hills Memorial Park, 3332 Lycoming Mall Road, Muncy, with Chaplain Steve Haupert officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to Hope Enterprises, 2401 Reach Road Williamsport, PA 17701 or North Central PA Dialysis, 1660 Sycamore Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.
