Dale L. Lovell, 64, of Linden, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida.

Born Dec. 14, 1952, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Kenneth W. and Anna M. (Robinson) Lovell.

Dale was a self-employed farmer for many years owning and operating the Lovell Dairy farm. After turning over the farm business to his oldest son, he drove truck for UPS and Stroehmann's before starting his retirement career in Florida, founding a printing company with his youngest son. He was a hardworking man of the Baptist faith, who enjoyed hunting and dedicated his life to his family and grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Rebecca S. (Dieffenbach) Lovell; two sons, Darryl L. (Tawnya) Lovell, of Cogan Station, Jarred D. Lovell, of Haines City, Fla.; a step-son, Todd J. (Lori) Russell, of Dallas; six grandchildren; three brothers, Ollie W., Ralph K., and Romaine H. Lovell; three sisters, Ruth Ella Ritchey, Mary L. Robinson, and Brenda J. Scott; mother-in-law, Suzanne M. Dieffenbach; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to honor Dale's life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at State Road Cemetery, 6738 Daughertys Run Road, Cogan Station, with Pastor Dan Patrick, officiating.
