Christina R. Livesay, 81, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Manor Care North. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billy J. Livesay, on July 4, 2017.

      Born April 29, 1936 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Suzie (Sabetta) Maroni. Christina worked as a seamstress at Weldon's and Wundies for over 30 years and was a member of the former Ascension Catholic Church. 

      Christina enjoyed needlework, embroidery, gardening, playing bingo, and going to yard sales, picnics, and fairs. She enjoyed being in the presence of others but more importantly loved and cherished her family dearly. 

      Surviving are her children, Brenda L. (Les) Marshall, of Williamsport, Susan L. Livesay of Springdale, Ark., Robert E. (Julie) Livesay of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Lisa M. (Richard) Stuchkus of Columbia; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and a brother Albert (Betty) Maroni of Williamsport. 

      In addition to her parents and husband Christina was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. 

      A funeral service to honor the life of Christina will be held 2:30 pm. Friday, September 8 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at Sanders.
