Charles E. “Bud” Tilburg, 74, of South Williamsport, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport .
Born June 8, 1943 in Williamsport, he was a son of Edward L. and Della C. (Johnson) Tilburg.
He was a 1962 graduate of Williamsport High School. Bud had worked at Bill Fry Ford, Bro-Dart, Shop-Vac and Weis Market. He was a member of Third St. United Methodist Church. Bud enjoyed doing yard work and being with his family.
Surviving are his wife Shirley A. (Eckenroth) whom he married April 15, 1995, five children, four step-children, nine grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren, three sisters Barbara A. Barry (Patrick) of Athens, Virginia L. Best (Cecil) of Linden, and Patricia E. Weaver (James) of Boalsburg.
A funeral service to honor the life of Bud will be held 2 pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2 p.m. Thursday at Sanders.
Burial will be private in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Third St. UMC 931 East Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
