Arthur Lewis Decker, 87, formerly of South Williamsport, died peacefully, Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Williamsport Home.
Born May 18, 1930 in Warren, PA and he was the son of Harry Arthur and Alma A. Watt Decker.
He was preceded in death by his wife L. June (Yoxtheimer) Decker on March 31, 2012 after 39 years of marriage, and a brother Sigmund S. Decker.
Art was a graduate of Warren High School and a graduate of Michigan State University. He was an Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean War. Art retired as a DEA agent from the State of PA. He was a member of the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Art was a 32nd Degree Mason, and was a member of the FOP.
Surviving is a sister-in-law Jean A. Myers, and nieces JoAnn Fedor, Judy Decker, Linda Houari and nephews David Myers, David Decker, and Mark Decker.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 25 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church 142 Market Street Williamsport, immediately following the 10:30 a.m. regular church service.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
