Anna M. Palmer, 88, of Williamsport, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Manor Care North. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Palmer on March 16, 2008. 

Born Sept. 26, 1928, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Phillips. 

Anna worked in the Bookstore at Brodart for over 40 years. She enjoyed crafts, sitting on her front porch and talking with her neighbors and the home shopping network.

Surviving are her children, Robert (Ruth) McMahon of Williamsport, Ronald (Roxanne) McMahon of North Dakota, Elizabeth Sponhouse of Williamsport, Martin (Deb) Vail of Williamsport and Kenneth (Becky) Vail of Jersey Shore; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Anna was preceded in death by a son, William McMahon, and her siblings. 

A funeral service to honor the life of Anna will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. A viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m.until the time of service on Monday at Sanders.
